With the recent launch of the Scottish Joint Venture Hub led by NFUS we are pleased to see the use of collaborative tools coming more into focus. Andersons have long been advocates for the use of a variety of collaboration techniques to assist rural businesses. In recent years the direction of travel on tenancy reform has seen a large number of farm businesses elect not to let land on short or long term tenancies but instead seek out alternative methodologies and Contract Farming Agreements have become an important vehicle.
From our office we operate a wide variety and large number of contract farming agreements in both arable and livestock scenarios on small and large acreages and we feel that the longevity of a number of these agreements is a testament to their success.
We are always delighted to discuss alternative ways of managing your farm business and if this is of interest, please do not hesitate to get in touch with David, Ben or Alex to discuss in more detail.
